KL Airport Services Sdn. Bhd. (KLAS) today announced that it has signed a Memorandum Of Understanding with Kementerian Belia dan Sukan to collaborate under the program ‘Boot Camp-Train and Place’ for the purpose of recruitment of its Customer Service Officer (CSO) and Ramp Service Assistant (RSA).
The collaboration which is mooted by KLAS is under the umbrella of DRB-HICOM Group and has been extended to other companies under the Group such as Composite Technology Research Malaysia Sdn Bhd (CTRM).
With the MoU, KLAS will collaborate with KBS and IKBN in support to government initiatives towards employability of Malaysian youths. For the first batch of this program, 41 graduates who successful in the interview is on training session under KLAS’ training program before they are offer as permanent employee.
Through this program, KLAS will be able to guarantee the quality of staff through intensive training as well as on job training which will expose the new staff on the real situation of the job in aviation industry.
The MOU signing session held in Putrajaya today witnessed the collaboration between KBS, headed by YB Khairy Jamaludin, Minister of Youth and Sports Malaysia and DRB-HICOM Group, represented by its Group Managing Director YBhg Dato’ Sri Syed Faisal Albar Syed Ali Rethza Albar.
